Now begins the push to keep D4 sales alive because the punters know there is a D5 coming (choose whatever it gets called).
Time to draw those on the fence out into the open methinks
A stealer I know (who sold me my current one) told me Monday he has more than 25 cash deposits securing D5 production slots. He reckons that's the first 6 months of his allocation used up
Just my opinion of course............"Track day running - Don't put your foot back on the accelerator until your absolutely sure you don't have to take it off again"
Current Ride: D4 XS Commercial Baltic Blue SDV6 fully loaded with heated everything
Track Days: BMW E36 M3 Evolution MY 1996 (3.2 Litre 377 BHP sat in 1,250 Kgs of car, with a pro safety cage and some serious braking power)

".......introduces a modern and distinctive look to the model range with striking finishes. A grey Graphite finish to the fender vents and grille, which also sports a gloss black and lighter grey frame, blend with existing grey highlights appointed to the door handles and the Discovery badging to the bonnet and tailgate. Exclusive to the Graphite is the 19-inch 7-split spoke alloy wheel in a high gloss dark grey as standard. The customer can choose between a spectrum of nine body colours and three interior colourways.
“The appeal of the Land Rover Discovery has just got even greater. We have launched two new special editions – the Landmark and Graphite, which offer the customer greater on-road presence and enhanced comfort to complement the Discovery’s existing versatility and capability attributes.”
Finbar McFall, Jaguar Land Rover Product Marketing Director. "
Let's see if we can help normal people make sense of Marketing-Speak...using plain English....
"Colourways"....he means colours....
"Fenders".....nope,I'm European I don't know what those are
"The customer can choose between a spectrum of body colours".....the customer can choose from a range of colours....you can't choose between a spectrum......
"Highlights appointed to the door handles"..... My wife doesn't get highlights "appointed" to her hair,I'm not sure why a door handle should be any different ....
Anyway,he still has the best name I've seen for a while,Marketing degree or not.....Finbar McFall...brilliant
At least he didn't call the bonnet the "hood" "Better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to speak out and remove all doubt" ?.....what rubbish...

Maybe we get to pick colours from the UV spectrum, or perhaps IR?
I'd like mine to be somewhere in the microwave part of the EM spectrum.

There you go Robbie.....TVR always used to boast that if ICI did the colour, you could have your car painted in it.....perhaps if you buy a new Landmark or Graphite Land Rover Discovery you can too !

My dealer said something similar but it's not a long wait really. I want to see what it is like (and costs) before I put any money down.
Interestingly there are articles out there about Jaguar bringing out an in-house range of inline six cylinder engines in late 2017. I wonder if D5 will be the same as DS in that the first six months will be with old engines?2014MY Discovery

Mr Gibson, I am quite surprised at you, aren't fenders those balloon type things that you nautical types like to decorate the side of your boats with. Perhaps it's some new type of external airbag?
