Rusty Accessories at 6 months

Guys

Car is now 6 months old and I have signs or rust/corrosion on various bits. The OEM Ladder has it on the seam at the top in exactly the same place as my previous one and the Tow Hitch plate looks pretty grim. Slight pitting and a dullness is also visible on the wheel locks which look pants against the shiny ones.

Now, I was going to reach for the Hamerite as per previous cars but then I thought hang on these are <6months old OEM parts why should I?

I know its a landrover but given the cost, it cheeses me off a bit having to start touching things up already. I know i should take the locking nuts off I'm just trying to decide if i want black or shiny nuts.

Is this petty or should i add it to the snagging list with the dealer?

few snaps sorry for the poor quality:

I think the tow ball is a given seen as LR don't coat them in anything and all my past ones I have sprayed black and triple lacquered them

As for the wheel nuts and ladder that's a hell no take it back to the dealers and complain!! Or at least get them to rectify as you stated its 6 month old not 6 years

Forget the locking wheel nut, that needs replaced with a standard nuts as they do like to fail. Thumbs Up
