Park mode

Rotary selector used to retract and into park automatically on engine shutdown.
Post service it doesn't .....
Weird. Any ideas/ thoughts/comments

Cheers all. Will see if there is a difference between shutting down in neutral or park or even D......

If you switch off whilst still in D, S or R the switch will retract and turn to Park automatically. If in N it will remain in N for (I think) 15 mins before retracting and going to park. I think its designed for things like car washes where the machine pulls the car through in N with engine off
