If anyone is looking for a new Discovery, Jardine Motors (www.jardinemotors.co.uk) who own Lancaster Land Rover are offering about 8.8% off he Graphite. They tell me that the offer is very popular and may be withdrawn at any time (yeah, ok, I may or may not believe that myself).
I have ordered mine through them. I am unconnected with them, this is purely a public service announcement.

guess that's straight cash no px...our 63 plate GS is probably about £28k I guess ..so £40k is not that far away........with only 23k on the clock its a hard call

There were better offers to be had if I had gone for one of the cars they already had in the pipeline, but I wanted a factory order car, and I couldn't find any other dealer who could match that price for factory order let alone get to 12%. I am not much of a negotiator, so to get 8.8% just by walking in to the dealer was pretty hassle free. MY16 D4 Graphite in Loire Blue

Mine was exactly that, one that was in the pipeline, I wanted a Black graphite with privacy glass and they happen to have one on the way rather than having to order one from LR so that is probably why they could do a good deal I would think.

It appears to be all about what they have to sell/where they are on target. I have just ordered a Graphite that a dealer has in stock (or so he says and I'm hoping he has, as Europe with the kids beckons in 2 weeks). I don't know exactly what I have paid (and I know that sounds odd) as they have massaged the PCP to get to the monthly cost I wanted - some car discount and some PCP rate discount. The car is exactly what I would have ordered from the factory so I'm happy enough. Other dealers would not budge and I didn't even call my local dealer (Beadles) as they really couldn't really be bothered when I drove a D4 a couple of years back. I suspect they prefer flogging RRS and full fat RRs. Carwow got a deal that was okay but again after a certain point there was no movement.
