Sorry to say that in my experience (threads above were mine) none of he mods ever work for long, I had 1 engine die completely and then the new one smoked too. Land Rover walked away from it and put in writing to me that it was 'representative of the marque'.
The only thing in its favour was when I bought a new car 1 year ago it got me an AMAZING deal from my dealer. And the MY2015 doesn't smoke. Good luck. 747_JK

Now, I have been told on a number of occasions that this is 'simply' the DPF cleaning itself, and apart from this the car runs (touches wood, crosses fingers, etc) great and tows great.
I rarely get to those revs as I'm quite a lazy driver!!
