5.0l V8 Starting Problem

I've got a bit of an issue with my V8 D4.

When I press the start button the engine just seems to give a short kick then nothing happens. If I release the button and press it again she starts up.

Used to be only once in a while but has been gradually getting worse, now it's every time I go to start it and sometimes it won't start till the 3rd press of the start button.

Anyone ever come across this issue before? I fear one day it may not start at all.

The battery was new last September so I'm pretty sure its not that. Confused

No both terminals secure. I am starting to think it maybe the start button itself
