The Heat is On - or not

So when it is cold enough outside, one of the many computers will turn on both front and rear heated screens when the vehicle is started - whether or not they are actually needed as on a dry cold night there is nothing on the glass. But dry or damp, when it is cold I want the heated seat, but the computer does not bother with that sort of stuff.

Anyone know how to replace "window heat" with "bottom heat", or at least add it to the great switch-on?

Not sure the seats can be set to auto turn on, but surely moving your hand 12 inches and pressing a button cant be too strenuous?

Am I right in thinking you
Mean to come on with the remote climate so that it's warm when you get in navigator ? I thought the seating warmers only come on when there's weight on them ? I may be wrong. Thumbs Up

Well, it is three switches actually - two to turn off things that the computer turned on that are not wanted and another to turn on the one that is definitely needed but computer isn't bothered with. They are making vehicles that are taking all the decisions for the occupants and right enough it will be "driverless" within a decade. Just wonder if when it is a nice day the 2025 Land Rover will go off on its own for a run in the sun?

I'm happy for the seats etc to do their thing when I arrive and work switches. Life is far to variable to be able to set much on a timer anyway. The passenger seat certainly works without a bum as I turn it on five minutes before I collect my girlfriend and then collect lots of brownie points. Also very useful for keeping curry warm on the long run back!
