You can do it with some error code reader tools, I have the Nanocom Evolution.

With some older BMW's you could reset the tranny by keeping the throttle at kick down position for 30 sec, but not sure if LR has any similar trick.

Hi Kimi,

I'm picking mine up after tranny oil change. How did you reset the adaptation?

Thanks!

This needs to be done using an iid tool, nanocom, autologic or similar diagnostic tool.

I followed the intrusions to the word. But as I'm a bit anal about things like this I thought I'd pop under the car to check the gearbox oil again and i managed to pump in amother 600ml of oil!
I think it's worth checking the level again after a couple of days use.
👍

Always good to check, at the correct temperature of course.

I'm slightly worried about the quality of the Mannol stuff now I've already put it in.

I was looking for some marine DFI 2 stroke oil for my boat engine .
Again mannol was extremely cheap and sold as a TC-W3 approved oil.
I was suspicious of this and looked on the NMMA website who is the group who test and certify 2 stroke DFI oils.
It does not appear on their website so I emailed them and received the following reply...

So falsely stating this oil is a aproved and illegally using the TC-W3 trademark.
Are we safe????

What oil do you use?
I can't find anything in between mannol price and the £25/litre genine xf oil.

Don't worry Geoff, it's all legit. The source of the specification/blend is already known to you as it is the same source as Febi and I know you have used that brand. The same source also provides the blend to ZF too.

Where did you find this information Robbie?
Mannol claim to blend all their own oil themselves at their Lithuanian factory.

I just received 5 litres of Mannol from Germany and I am wondering if it is okay to use it?

Suprisingly Mannol have ignored my email asking why they have lied about the certification of their marine oil!

I have used the Mannol oil in a drop and refill as per information in this thread. The car has done about 5k miles since, and no ill effects noticed.

Use has been a mix of city, high speed distance, and caravan towing.

I will keep the forum updated if this changes.
