[Sold] Patriot roof rack - reduced

SOLD!!

This has never been fitted!!

Hi guys. I have a patriot roof rack for a D3/4 that I was about to get modified to fit the D2 by patriot however I have found a D2 rack locally.

If any one is interested in this one I need to get around £625 to swap them over.

It's got the luggage rail as you can see and will be supplied with a new set of disco mounts.

There is the odd scratch as you would expect but easily touched up.

Be quick as if I miss the other rack I will have to chop this one.

I would of course swap if that's an option :)

Admin note: this post has had its images recovered from a money grabbing photo hosting site and reinstated Mr. Green

150 views and no replies...? I am surprised! I thought that this would be quite popular at least than half the price of a new one.....?

Any suggestions?

Hi, does this fit on extended rails or cross bars or does it have to plug straight into the roof?

Hi it bolts straight to the roof Smile which increases the load carrying ability!

ok thanks, it won't work for me then... I need to keep my roofrails and bars on and was looking for a rack I could just bolt onto the bars.

Thanks anyway.

Just fits into the rails at the rear & the pre threaded mounting points above the front of cab.

You wouldn't need roof bars as the rack would replace them.

Jester, I am sure that you remove the rear rails and the rack bolts to the original rail mounting?

I stand corrected, they do fit direct to car, bit of a phaff removing the captive nuts under the rails which leaves a stud onto which connect the feet.

The benefit of bolting it straight to the roof is that it increases the load capacity dramatically.
