When I start the engine.....

....the front and rear heated windscreens come on ????

Just started doing it. Anyone seen this before ?

Neat solution but bet the battery doesn't like it, particularly when all the heated seats get switched on too!

Heated seats are switched manually - especially when there is a front passenger. I find them too hot. The seats that is.....

Charlie, your profile still shows you have a D3. There was me thinking I was missing something in my D3! I must learn to look at the section of posts (ie D4 in this case)
 2005, TDV6 S, Auto, 190k miles, owned from new, V8 Brake Upgrade, Nancom Evo, RLD protector, BAS EGR blanking & Remap, separate ATF cooler, changing all the fluids ahead of time.

Do you have a D3 or a D4? Your profile says 3 but car's behaviours suggests 4.

What's more annoying is when the car switches itself off automatically - not stop/start - when it thinks you want it to; ie epb on, in P and seatbelt off. PIA
