The D3 HSE wheels do look really good on the D4 and even better in black! Think I'm going to go down this road with mine.

I changed bonnet lettering on my Defender to black ones they came with a template to space them out Thumbs Up I used dental floss to remove the old lettering to avoid any damage to paint. Defender 300Tdi 110 HCP - Keswick Green

You shouldn't be worried you will manage fine to get them on perfectly, by the use of the template and some masking tape it's not that difficult you'll be surprised it's very straightforward.

Looking good Dubbs.
Did mine a while back, added a subtle individual touch to side vents (had decided to leave wheels as they were so this was intended to compliment) & went black lettering all round.
