Federal 285/70/17
Hey guys,
I just fitted these on a D3.
They are 285/70/17"Federal Couragia M/T.
Rims used are C4W, germany made. - fit perfectly and avre available in different offsets. These are 34.
Still, this is not a perfect fit, as we are waiting for the suspension rods to arrive from US, so we can get 2.5" lift from the airmatic.
p.s - it seems i cannot attach pictures from computer. Can someone tell me how?

If your only problem are the callipers, then you should use a set of spacers. First measure the point where the wheel will rub no more to decide what spacers do you need. 5mm, 10mm, 15mm, etc.
Usually, only the front wheels are the issue with calliper rubbing. Still, buy a set of 4 spacers, just in case.

yes - I think DG had, but you do need spacers to clear the front calipers.

ISTR those above are 2009 onwards FFRR rims and spacers needed. FFRR 06MY to 08MY incl fit fine but not later ones.

Hi Everyone.
Im new to the site so can I ask for a little help please?
Ive recently bought a disco 3 with 22 inch overfinch alloys on it. The tyre size is 285 x 35 x 22. The problem I have is that it doesnt have a spare wheel!!!
I got caughtout today with a puncture, and had to call the AA.......The nice man recommended that I purchase a 18 inch wheel and raise the profile so it comes out as the same diameter at the 22 inch overfinch wheels.
Is this possible?
Could I fool the vehicle into thinking it had another 22 inch wheel on over a small journey?
If so, has anyone got a wheel they can sell me please?

doesnt it have the skinny steel 19" spare?
The profile of your 22" wheel and tyre combibation should be the same as the skinny.
The same steel 19" skinny is fitted to all D3's, irrespective of the roadwheel size (17,18 or 19").
OK, a proper spare is a good idea, so just buy an 18" alloy with a 255/60x18 tyre or 19" with a 255/55x19 tyre. Either will do
