The Ultimate Wheel ID 1 22"
A set of the above for my nearly new (Dec 07) D3 For £1550 inc. VAT Fitted with 285 35 22 Toyo Tyres - Delivered.
Hi guys - taking delivery of my first Landrover on the 19th Jan. Have seen these wheels and like them a lot. Has anyone fitted these or other 22" to their D3? Any problems with them or advice would be much appreciated.

don - no pics, so dont know which wheel you're going for.
If you read through the threads, there is always one message you'll see repeated, and thats weight rating, of both wheel, and more importantly, tyre. Dont take wheels weight rated at less than 900kg, or tyres should be weight rated at 111 or above to meet manufactures minimum spec.
Ride might be a bit harsh on 35 series tyres, got very firm on 295/45x20's. I've gone with 265/50x20's.

Al, agree with first part, but on the same tyre surely ride won't be any harsher on the 295 than on the 265, as both the sidewalls are the same height [with the 295 being very slightly higher] ...... always on the road less travelled 🚧

Just put these wheels under my LR3 ... but officially these wheels DO NOT FIT!! I had to use Spacers and new Lugs nuts...

And with the high performance tyre of Vredestein it looks like this:
Does anyone know the correct pressure for the 255/50/R20 tyre?

agree Ron. but whereas the 295/45x20's and 265/50x20 have approx 5" of sidewall, these 265/35x22's have on 3.7 inch, so much less flexibility.

I'm fairly sure they are not Overfinch. I've checked Rimstock, who also do something similar but quite the same, also nothing on Kahn's site, so sorry, I dont know whose these wheels are.
Sorry, got the link now. No, I've not heard of them, and not seen these on anybody on the site's car (jump in folks if you've got these). They look more likely to be on an RRS (more bling). Sorry

Help me please someone??? Have just got a set of seven spoke rr wheels like those in pic except they have little dimples inbetween the spokes at the centre. Does this mean they are different as when i fit them they are just shaving the calipers on the front. Is this normal and has anyone experienced this. I really wanted to fit them for the weekend but looks like thats not happening now. Please help me..... Corrado Vr6

Hi ken the wheels look the same as those in the pics i quoted are 8jx19 genuine lr wheels i think but they have dimples between the bolt holes on the outside. was wondering if they are a different sort of seven spoke if there are any. Not sure on the year they were made but part number is RRC505010MNH. cheersCorrado Vr6

I guess you have the ones shown in the wheels that dont fit

muppetlab, I've posted on the other thread, the dimples do signify a fit/don't fit difference by model year on the Freelander 1 so it may be the same with yours and they are a subtle variation that the ardent wheel-swappers (Al?) haven't come across before....just an idea.
Normally such a casting change would only be for quite a good reason.Cheers

@muppetlab: I had the same problem. Solution? Spacers! I have placed 25mm spacers w/centre rings and the wheels fit perfectly!
