| Question regarding compressor running duration |

Hi,
I've just bought a 2012 Disco 4 XS. I couldn't be happier the finish is stunning, the ride is extremely comfortable and for a big vehicle it gets up to speed surprisingly quick.
My question is when raised to the off road height how long should your compressor run for?

our 2 year old....lifts it in a couple of minutes..if that.......I assume the compressor goes off once up..
they used to say if you have a leak the compreesor will keep running and burn out...so the quicker the leak sorted the better.
