Remote control for RSE?

Hi,
new to the site, meant to be picking up car this afternoon from dealer (used D4 lux). I had a quick question though, are you supposed to get a remote control for the rear seat entertainment system? I've seen it on a couple of videos - but when I saw the car at the dealers there was no mention of it?

Plus a real newbie question, but difference between D4 and LR4 as in what do these acroynyms refer to (obviously d4 is discovery 4) but is LR4 a variant?

Thanks for any help.

LR4 is the name in US market for a D4

Don't know but on mine which is a MY10 I use the remote whilst driving to start the video for the kids so quite handy as the screen locks out the start function whilst driving Smile

Yes you are, and 2 sets of headphones and check the remote works and your not given the wrong one out of another car.
