ok people I've heard back from Dan! The part number is LR001623 but it's a tad longer than the disco one but can be cut to fit and otherwise is identical it's half price and is a genuine part!
Dan can do them for us @£6 plus vat each so I think anyone interested should phone or email him dan@duckworthparts and support our sponsor who told us about this little gem
I'm getting two to tidy mine up blessed are the losers ,for they determine the winners

Does cutting them not expose the metal and therfore speed up corrosion in future?
Think i would rather buy the right one's for £12. Maybe they can do a group buy for the right ones? I would be in if there was a group buy for the correct ones.

Rather than paying over the top LR prices why not just use a generic alternative?
I've used this on my the other half's FL2 (tip courtesy of the freel2 site) and have lots sitting in the shed for when my disco ones need doing...

Each to their own but for me I'd rather have a genuine landie part it's still half the price of the disco one! And I'm sure a tad sealant on the exposed end will seal any moisture from the cut end! I've already ordered from duckworthlandrover and they are on their way I'll post a pic when fitted but I suggest you guys get involved and support our sponsors and save a few quid too blessed are the losers ,for they determine the winners

I need to check, but I think I need them for the rear arches at least.
