Judder
Hi, in the last few days I've been experiencing a judder coming from my 2006 D3 when accelerating up even the slightest hill, it feels like clutch judder but only seems to happen when there is the need for extra power. Having done a bit of research, some are saying the gearbox needs flushing and new oil putting in, some are saying it's the fuel filter that's at fault, can anyone offer any advice - the D3 has done 138,000 miles - thanks....

If it's fine on the level when extra power is needed I'd go for the Meagflush..... mind you at that mileage I'd go for one anyway Dave

Yep, megaflush and a shot of Dr Tranny ...... But may not 'fix' it for long. More and more people are starting to have problems with their torque converter at this sort of age, which is around the £1100 to sort
Hope that kinda helps,

I'd say get a flush done, but don't put Dr Tranny in after. If it still judders afterwards, you need a new TC. I've come to the conclusion that the TC should do it's job without Dr Tranny, so if it isn't fixed afterwards, there's no getting around it and you need to get on with the job in hand.

I've seen a write up on here I think company called ba transmissions a member as has had his torque converter refurbed and charge including fitting £400 and 12 month warranty
Do your best to get the TC replaced under warranty if possible then. Don't have a flush only for it to return once it's out of warranty. ...... completely agree with Mr LWO. I think Dr Tranny kinda just masks the issue so it's going to need doing at some point but fingers crossed, the warranty will cover it ðŸ‘ðŸ¼.. still learning )
