forgot to add that my D2 with active cornering enhancement had better handling and less body roll than the D3.
would that be related to any of the above codes?

Mine is currently sat on its bump stops with a similar fault. I have the red 'wobbly car' symbol and also HDC/special programs off etc.
Mine is due to a faulty steering angle sensor apparently. My steering angle was giving 5640 degrees!!
I have a replacement (S/H ebay). Though I plugged it into the car without fitting it to the column to see if the car recognized a working sensor, but still no joy!
I think it needs calibrating and configuring. So its off to the garage on Sat to be left with them. Assuming i can drive it there!!
Calibrating the steering angle is a 5 minute job - you may well have a forum member close to you who could help you for a couple of beer tokens - loads cheaper (and quicker) than getting the garage to do it.

Hi Torlak.
That was my biggest suprise when moving from a D2 with ACE to a D3, loads more body roll
and nowhere near as good handling but waaaay smoother.

Discogaz, yes i am very surprised that body roll is a lot more on D3 than D2. that ACE system rocks, apart from the fact they may leak as the pipes corrode..i had to take the whole system off and install conventional roll bars but even with roll bars she had less body roll than D3.......

Meant RR Sport. Who'd have thought a lump like a D2/RRS could handle like a go kart. Sort of.

ok here is what i did so far for the suspension but still getting the same fault code hdc fault, special programs off, suspension lowered ... etc
hard reset
replaced the brake switch
replaced the battery (old one was 10 yrs old anyway)
checked connections under the battery and no signs of water/corrosion - looked very very clean in fact
i had cleared all the old fault codes straigth after replacing the battery but after about 25 min of driving got the same lights on the dash board and the code read;
U0416 invalid data received from vehicle dynamic control module - bus signal/message failure - signal is invalid - pending
