So what's the story behind silicone and air meters?
(Can't foresee a problem either way as the paper filter fits between the silicone in the drain plugs and the air meter intake.) 33370 Fargues Saint Hilaire

Bit of a long shot but does anyone know where I could get a set of the templates? I've just bought one second hand but it obviously doesn't have any templates!

Think I might still have a set from when I fitted one years back - albeit it was a copy of the genuine Safari snorkel.

If you want me to have a dig around tomorrow I will and if I find them I'll scan them and email them to you.

Probably still got the snorkel somewhere since I replaced the body with a RAI whilst keeping the sealed internals..... I see no ships........

That'd be spot on cheers. I'm going to have make something as the internals are missing too. Thinking of using 3" CAI pipe for the wing, just need to figure out a way of sealing it into the air filter box! Discovery 4 GS 2009 Auto Stornoway Grey

I found the fitting guide and templates and scanned everything to a PDF in my gallery here -

Hopefully it'll be of some use - I'd print the templates out on thick card.

Also managed to find the original snorkel - well it found me by falling on me...... bonus Thumbs Up I see no ships........

The bolts in the wing need slender hands - not the Homer Simpson fingers I have.

Got (made) my lad do them at the time

Taking them off a few years later left my hands looking like I'd used a cheese grater on them I see no ships........
