| Head unit replacement options |

Morning, just signed up its my first post. I have sold my defender and looking at getting a D3 but keen to change the stero head unit to a double din that can take usb.
I have read a few posts about the problems of trying to swap the head units out, but it seems some lower end models this is more possible as in take out and plug new one in everything will work rather than having to rewire or out thr old head unit in the boot etc.
Can anyone let me know what typical models a direct swap is possible to help me in deciding what to buy.
