Detachable towbar question, not about the lock :) |
|
Being thick I was surprised when I got my new lock when I realised how to change it. So all done, new lock on
However I twisted the handle with the key in unlock position and it has locked the pin that sticks out the back of the actual towbar right in. The bit that I would assume springs out into the car itself to help secure it in place.
This is going to sound dumb, but I can't get it to release and come out and the handle won't budge.
Is it meant to do that? I have never had a detachable towbar before and haven't even got as far as putting this on my D3
I think most people will probably laugh reading this post lol

if you push the small pin in the catch will lock ...thinking its on the car...you can then remove key...I always do this to store it and no broken keys
