Question on roof antenna
Perhaps a stupid question but I am curious to know if this is just a general antenna for radio or if it has some other use!?
I have never seen anything like it on my previous discovery3 or others I have seen!
It's on my 2007 D3 tdv6 hse
Any ideas what it is or what it's uses are if any?

How come this isn't on the D4 ? seems a bit of a retrograde step Morris Dancers: Drinkers with A Dance Problem

Not at all .. It's all done via Bluetooth now so no need for an external antenna
It was also removed from the d3 in 2008 I thinkG4 Gone ...but not forgotten

Tv antennas are build into the glass on the rear side windows
You may not have the cradle in place but you should have the dock

Pretty rare for mobile phones to have an external aerial socket these days, so little point making provision for one on the car.
