epb fault and hdc fault.

I've recently had a new body control module fitted because the hazzards came on after a while driving on the motorway.
Problem sorted. Now it's doing the same again plus the car is having problems locking and unlocking. The steering telemetry was sorted and was told it could now need a new epb module as that's what it was saying on the diagnostics. If it does require one could a second hand one be fitted or does it have to be a brand new one from the main dealers.
Any advice and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

You have a CANBUS issue which may be a damaged wire (very common) or a bad module (rare). I doubt that the BCM change was required.

It is one of the databuses that link all the various systems in your car together. In this case it is a simple network of twisted pairs of wires. The hazards are used when this network cries for help.

My fob got wet and basically after that the central locking has been playing up. Unlocking itself without the button being pressed. Obviously I dried the fob out by putting it in a sock on the radiator but turned the thermostat down as not to overheat the fob.
