I've bought a few locks to help people remove their tow bar. Never been asked for anything. Anyway, the locks are available online.Land Rover - Turning Drivers into Mechanics Since 1948

Maybe do have fair points if the dealers \ insurers \ owners aren't reporting it back but they must be aware of some surely.
I don't understand why they would be expected to do a recall ...they would only recall for safety not theft ...that's plain daft 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

I guess they are so busy solving the security issues with RRS's that they don't have time to look into towbar security
I wonder if RRS security issues with be improved at the same pace as security has improved on the Defender

You can still nick body panels with carefully frozen lettuce.

I've always removed my detachable towbar ASAP after use. Not out of concern that it would be stolen, but because I've read a couple of articles about how towbars affect the crash protection of a vehicle in the event of a rear end shunt, both the one that's its fitted to and the vehicle that hits it.
Even more reason to do so now if thieving scrotes are on the look out for them 2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE
