Intercooler Hose

Hey Guys,

Hope you're having a good Sunday evening!

Just a quickie, where is the best place to get the commonly split intercooler hose for a D3 at the moment?

Thanks guys!

Olly

Purchased!

Hopefully that is the reason the car is smokin' like a *****!

Hopefully it's easy to change! Shocked

Doddle. Hardest part is pulling out the two-part plastic pins that hold the forward lower wheelarch liner in place.

Once you have that out of the way, getting to the jubilee clips is lemon-squeezy

Cool, easy enough to just get under the car and do it? Doesn't need to be jacked up or anything does it?

I'd never work under the car without an axle stand in place. Last thing you want is an air suspension fart when your head is under the front bumper! No need to take the wheel off or anything like that, just put it in offroad height, stick an axle stand under a chassis rail and away you go.

Why do you do that Al?

There is a removable cover that gives access to the IC lower pipe jubilee, still uses four of those clips, but you can do it easy in raised height on full lock Thumbs Up

That's the forward liner bit I was referring to. It's not quite wheelarch liner, but after 4 pints of scrumpy I'm struggling to come up with another name for the covery thing... Embarassed
