IID tool Or update my Nanocom ?
Hi peeps
just wondering what your thoughts were on IID tool ?
Ive got a Nanocom for my D2 which worked great but its nealry as much to update it to a d3 than it is to buy an IID tool.
I know Bas (Pete) well and he swears by Colin at black box solution with his support and back up.
Just wondered what you guys thought of the IID tool

I've used them all and whilst I've yet to meet a dissatisfied Nanocom owner the ease of use with the BT IID Tool combined with a few unique features makes it special. Given the price to update the Nanocom it would be a no-brainer to move to an IID Tool and recover money by selling the Nanocom as a D2 tool.
You will not find a bad word about Gap customer service on this forum or the sister sites. They are a good bunch.
Oh and welcome to the forum!

Have you badgered Gap for P38 coverage (although I thought you communicated with a P38 via a formal written note)?Land Rover - Turning Drivers into Mechanics Since 1948
FL1, D2 and Deafner will be on the IID Tool sometime in the new year Mike.
And I hope FL2 too, now that I've joined forces with GAP and I've committed myself to help them in any way I can. My new toy to play and experiment - an IID Tool BT - just arrived in time for Christmas...

FL2 has been added to the Pro Beta. Service reset has been fine tuned already, for 2010>on My D3 Build Thread

I'm happy with my Nanocom. I use it for both my p38 and D3. I've got it unlocked for both versions of petrolp38. I was luck enough to pick it up second hand so my costs haven't been so great. Colin is a proper gentleman and always willing to help. Never had a bad conversation with any of thr BBS crew to be honest. I can't comment on the competition as I've not used them but for me the nano works really well

There is always a lot to be done, for sure.... For all models - cars and/or interfaces.
Like a friend of mine said to me, besides the "Learn, learn and learn again!", there is always "Experiment, experiment and experiment again!".
