Seem expensive compared to a CTEK of the equivalent current rating?

8 amp is slightly cheaper than I found 7.5 ctek one for. Your right prob not enough difference to take a chance on.
Not sure whether those prices can be bettered though.

There also doesn't seem to be any availability of accessories from Sealey - charging sockets etc - you get what's supplied in the box and that's it.

And it appears to be their own connector, although some photos suggest it might be an SAE connector like the current Optimate chargers.

From Google Images, old versions of the SMC02 seem to be the same as the Carpoint charger linked to earlier Shocked

Well obviously not, how hard can it be, two colours red to earth as the soil around here is red clay based, so that means black to live Thumbs Up

I know that's an odd way to remember it, the other I used is the bank account analogy, in the red means negative cash balance, and in the black a posative one, so who needs instructoons Wink

Anyway, I'll just plug it into Martins adapter Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter

Do not follow the above, it's clearly incorrect and is just for giggles Thumbs Up
