Rear diff and tc
Morning chaps how do I find out if I have a locking diff on the rear off my d3 2006 and I seem to have a bit off back lash when I put the throttle on after I coast also can the RCA be turned fully off many thanks
Your profile shows the car to be an S so it unlikely you have a locking rear as these were only ever on HSE's IIRCAltox GSM FBH controller thread

do you have the 4x4 screen.
if so, put TR into rack crawl and gearbox into 1st. if you have the rear locking diff, the icon on the rear wheels will lock up.
alternatively, take a look under the RHS rear wheel arch and you would be able to see the actuator on top of the Diff.Duncan

you cant switch TC completely off.
on grass, forget the grass/gravel etc setting - switch off DSC then select TR sand or mud ruts, Low ration 3rd, and retryDuncan
