Fuel Filler Flap

Hi

I have searched the forum posts to try and find instructions as to how to replace the chassis side of the spring lock of the fuel filler flap (not yhe lock itself, as that works) - but have been unsuccessful (could be the wording I am using, so apologies if it is staring me in the face).

I can work out how the replace the plastic part on the flap, but before I break the chassis side, I thought I would ask if there is a how to or instructions anywhere?

Kind regards

Jay

Thanks Bobs

I think I may not have explained myself clearly, in that I could not find anything to advise how to remove the chasis side of the spring mechanism.
Found pictures of the parts, but could not find any instructions.

To me, I am assuming I have to potentially pull the centre plastic part out quite firmly - but as I am not certain, I felt I needed to ask before I break something.
Then fitment of the new part is what I would assume is quite a tight push fit?

Kind regards

Jay
