Woooooohooooo, might have a look at that. Unless I'm out in the snow with the dogs.

£46 in the offer. Not getting one though as SWMBO has banned any more non-essential spending on the car.

On and slightly off topic...... i bought one a week back thanks to Disco Tres
I am planning to top the battery up every week, is this Ok to do and wont damage the battery in any way ? It only gets short blasts so never gets a proper charge.
Anyone else top their battery up weekly ?James favourite hobby is writing in the third person.

I bought an mxs5 in the Amazon deal highlighted by DT along with a tow electrics adapter from Martin.
Both appear to work well and I intend to put the D4 on charge in very cold weather and/or if the car isn't doing much mileage.
So not actually every week in my case.
I am no expert but have read plenty about the dark art of maintaining batteries and I can't see how the ctek can do any actual harm.
I think one thread expressed concern that regular charging might disguise a faulty battery and possibly lead to a risk of being stranded away from home

cool, and agreed. Battery and alt are new so should be fine. i am trying to work out if some of the electrical issues are low voltage related..... so keeping the battery maxed for a few weeks and see how i get onJames favourite hobby is writing in the third person.

In the last deal on Amazon I got mine for £35.99 - not such a good deal now.A shapely pair of legs is one thing but a nice bum is not to be sniffed at.
