The most annoying unfunny bloke out there. I find him as annoying as the 2 ronnies

I've watched a few of these whenever "nothing else on" but always end up engrossed in them. People history is fascinating.

Not seen the BC one so will have to look on catch-up

IMHO - Genealogy is something that either captivates you or you couldn't care less about. I am the latter, I am not in the slightest bit interested what Uncle Wilf did or Great Ganny didn't do. I couldn't even tell you their names. I live for the here and now, not the yesterdays.

Just got a months subscription to a war forces website to get a great uncles's details. Didn't tell me anything I didn't know unfortunately but if anyone needs a search for a relative lost in the war then my subscription lasts until November.

I watched the prog last night and was sad to see the change in Billy due to the Parkinson's. He now has 'the mask' and his voice is suffering. I wonder if he has suffered from Parkinsons longer than publicised. My dear mum had this dreadful illness, as had her mother before her. Great advances have been made since my gran suffered from it, but much more needs to be done. I am very proud to say that Mum was on the Parkinson's brain and tissue donor register and that her bequest is now helping research into Parkinsons, Alzheimer's and MS. Whilst not giving life in the same way as an organ donor, arranging in advance to donate your brain and tissue to help research may help improve the quality of life of a sufferer in future. Please consider it.

Oh, and back on topic, I found the programme quite interesting although was getting confused with the time line a bit.
