disco 3 door seals

my wifes car has a fair bit of wear and tear on both front door seals. is there a particular place to source this rubber trim or is it bite the bullet at the dealers please?

which seals do you mean?
if its the one that goes round the body(and generally wears just above seat base height where you seem to rub it getting in)then this is fairly cheap from the stealers did driver side start of the year and was a lot cheaper than i thought it would be,cant remember how much it was now and only a ten min job to change Thumbs Up

sorry i was not clear. the two soft rubbers which are fitted around the body which seal the door, they are both worn in the same place from -as you mentioned- being caught by people and bags entering and exiting the car. they just look a bit tatty and her majesty asked about replacing them.....

that's the one i replaced Thumbs Up as i said was not that expensive from stealers. and better than buying blind from Eblag.

do you mean move the wear to another part of the opening by removing the sill trim?

You don't need to remove the sill trim.

Just pull it off and re-position it. They aren't moulded. Thumbs Up

I prefer a new one after 7 years......

A little tip.... if you rip the seal,use a wetsuit/neoprene repair product called Aquasure....works a treat Thumbs Up

Would I be silly to assume the D3 and D4 seals are the same for ordering purposes ?
Edit:maybe not.....D3 seems to be LR037755 and D4 is LR037755-A...so must be slightly different ?
