[Sorted] Long Shot.. Need 'half' a towing electric socket lo

Hi

I got hold of a 13 pin towing socket but it's only half the kit. I have the bit that goes from the socket to behind the rear light cluster. It terminates in three separate connectors. What I need is the other half of the cable/kit that goes from that to the three plugs behind the cubby panel (i.e. the cable with the big rubber grommet on)

Don't suppose anyone has got one knocking around for some reason? Happy to compensate appropriately Thumbs Up

Cheers
James

I think you can (could?) get the sections of loom separately from the whole kit (for once!)

Yes I think you're right but my local dealer are having problems in concluding which bit I need! My own detective work seems to show I need LR053005, which on their parts system shows as a bit labeled 13A576A?

I was sent away from the dealers this afternoon saying that I didn't even need this bit at all and I just needed to "pull back the carpet in the boot and plug it in to the sockets there" Neutral

So I've had a better look and found the three plugs behind the cubby panel, just need to try and get hold of this cable now Thumbs Up

Cheers

Yes mate, I bought it off eBay before realising my GS was already wired up. (I was in a rush to get everything sorted before holiday and instead of spending 5 minutes checking if I already had one, I did a best offer on this new one Big Cry )
You can have the lot for what I paid for it which is £25 + cheapest post I can get. I'm thinking there might be more parts than you need but still possibly cheaper than LR for the single loom.

Cheers

FYI, you'll have to fit the full kit, the short looms are different in twin 7 and 13 pin sets.
