Diesel Particulate Filter or words to that effect.

The software keeps an eye on the filter state and burns if off when it deems it necessary, so the grunge does get into the atmosphere anyway.

In my opinion it's an unnecessary item as a sop to the Green Brigade Whistle

Diesel Particulate Filter.

It catches the crap that is said to be carcinogenic.

But they do fill up - so the solution is to trash it down the motorway and burn it off - releasing all that crap probably. Laughing

That or there is a burn cycle that injects fuel into the exhaust to burn it off.

All very environmentally friendly and fuel saving Rolling with laughter

So all in all what is the top 3 guys, i have added redex to my d4 and never noticed a difference, have thought of adding some 2 stroke that others swear by but just not sure, I aint no engine expert so really like getting the facts on this site from those who have done it all over the years and can give own experiences.

Thanks
