Hi, this is my first post so apologies in advance if it sounds basic and numpty-esque!!
I picked up my first discovery 3 two days ago, HSE spec so it's taking a while to work out all the buttons and gadgets. Which is the reason for my post...
On the underside of the drivers arm rest is what appears to be a docking station for something but I don't know what it's for. Definitely not an iPod and I don't think it's for a phone since -as you can see from the picture - the connectors are on the back rather than at the base. On the left is a sprung lever to release gadget "x"
If anybody recognises it, please share!
Thanks

It is for the phone. LR will supply(or did)the cradle for a phone which clips onto the plastic, the connections would be on the back and your phone would slide in to the cradle, the most common phone was the nokia 6210 series, but you could get other phones to fit as well, but it was limited.2015 D4 HSE LUX Kaikoura Stone(sold)
