Quick cheap fix for water leak from warped scuttle panel!!
Hi everyone. The other day I found water on the rubber mat in the passenger footwell which seemed to be coming from the cabin filter. Thanks to this forum I confirmed the leak was due to a warped scuttle panel.
I wanted to stop the rain water leaking in quickly as rain was forcast for the whole week so I went down to a hardware shop who had rubber window wedge seal like the ones they use in aluminium window and door frames.
I pulled back the edge of the scuttle panel and wedges the rubber seal in and it has stopped the water leaking and took about 5 min to do the whole job.
