Absolutely agree!
Plus I cannot understand why when I stop to park the start/stop activates stooping the engine straight away, although all I want to do is turn my gearbox dial to R to reverse into a parking space (and then the engine starts again)!!! There should be a small delay programmed into the start/stop system, before it actually stops...
