Replacing a ride height sensor...

I need to replace the front right sensor (found out it is held in place with a cable tie!).
Just been looking but can't seem to find a 'how to'. Is it not a DIY job in reality?

I think the suspension will need to be recalibrated one it's replaced. There is no such thing as bad weather, only the wrong clothes.

You will need to recalibrate afterwards (SDD, IID Tool, Faultmate etc etc) but the sensor itself is a doddle to change - disconnect the cable, the link arm and undo 2 torx screws.

Yep, easy to change, sensors are about £35, so not expensive, but as mentioned you'll need to have the suspension re-calibrated with diagnostic kit Thumbs Up Never get mad - get even !!

06 D3 now gone to family member and still going strong at 265k

previous vehicles:
04 D2 TD5 - (clocked 189k from new)
52 X-Trail 2.2 SVE
various euro boxes !

You can do the actual change yourself, but the suspension may then miss-behave and do strange things Whistle

I did the same on mine, and had LR re-calibrate which they did for an hours labour charge (£80) + vat, so not excessive Rolling Eyes Never get mad - get even !!

06 D3 now gone to family member and still going strong at 265k
