Headlight 'Glass' Replacement

The glass/plastic fronts on my xenon lights are crazed and cracked. The always pass the MOT but I would like to change them if possible.

Is it possible to replace them and if so, any ideas where I could get them?

Replacement is easy enough, same principle is needed if you detango the lights, follow the how to for that, but I'd go with the heat gun method not the oven to soften the adhesive Thumbs Up

Now the hard part is getting the lenses you'll need to break a pair of cheaper halogen lights to get the parts, they're all the same,nice rebuilt one of my Xenons this way.

I have one headlight spare here as posted here, it's still available

How bad are they?

Are they actually glass?

If not you might be able to polish them...

They are beyond polishing out unfortunately. Most of it is crazing but there are a couple of proper almost full thickness cracks.

Thanks for the info Beanie. I guess I am looking for some scrap lights to cannibalise.

can't you use the repair kits out there, they're like wet/dry rub down sheets that get finer and finer

Unfortunately it is not just oxidation. It is cracking. My guess is that someone has used a chemical of some sort that wasn't suitable for plastic.
