That plate was advertised on here a number of times for a lot less money.
I nearly bought it myself as an investment but decided as I was going to be unpaid in Africa for a year I needed the money elsewhere!
As they appear to have dropped the number from the name, I believe the new Discovery is simply going to be known as the Discovery it may not have been such a good investment afterall? It does still spell DI5COV however so would work on any Discovery.Nick

I find it a little odd how people cobble together number plates to say something, mind you the best i've seen was on a Bentley: LE55TAX. That I get

I'm showing my age here, but back in 1985 I owned a Granada with the reg A62 ANT. I saw the reg A61 ANT for sale for £10000
I had already planned the colour for my new Capri 2.8i that I was going to buy with the proceeds of the sale of my number plate. Called several companies of which none were interested in my number
It took my rather cleverer older brother to point out that A61 ANT could quite easily be turned into
A GIANT, where as A62 ANT couldn't Discovery 4 HSE
