I run mine at 42 psi rear and 37 psi front - all seems well but am thinking of going up to 39 front

what do others run at ?

Remember it changes a bit depending on how you use the car. I tend to do quite a bit of motorway with heavy loads, so run mine front-40 rear-44. If I was around town all day I'd probably come down a bit...
Thumbs Up

does anyone use the recommended 39 front 46 back ? seems everyone is doing their own thing - ALS middle of the road plus 4 all round

Just try it...

but load the D3 up with 4-5 people & a load in the back ...
then take you D3 on a drive that includes normal roads (not motorways) that you dont know...has to include bends at speed..
You are going to be alarmed at what your D3 becomes...
Unstable....if you go into a bend too fast & brake or correct the line it will do things you dont expect...a bit like a Disco 1 or Disco 2 driven badly.
It will be harsh as hell & your passengers will ask whats happened...the magic carpet ride is that magic anymore

I have to ask why you are considering increasing the pressures ?
are you on the fuel economy trip ? the amount you save will be infinitesimal ....
you wont make your Vreds last any longer either...

Try what I have suggested test the situation & dont be caught with a vehicle that doesn't work like it ought to& get caught with an at speed vehicle handling unpredictability that you dont need
 BREXIT - done properly.

D3 HSE-perfectly formed, passenger friendly...has real DIPSTICK
Jag XK-but sadly no DIPSTICK...HUGE design fault
FL2 has DIPSTICK..."real comfort in rear seats"
VW Golf wondermobile (?)..has real DIPSTICK
Morris Minor..original DIPSTICK technology..and a real KEY.

mckala...

I'm on my second set of wintracs...for this D3
the first lasted 35k+ miles & still had 4mm left & were viable
I swapped last November as if I left this later I may not have been able to get any in the snowy season months.

Actually I used these blissfully unaware that they needed anything other than makers standard pressures..
My second set bought & on I thought they seemed a bit hard on the way to home (hull - M62 to Halifax)
they were all + 4 psi...this puzzled me so I reverted back to what I usually used....back to normal ride

Last christmas I tied the + 4 psi thing & was mega shocked.....I believe the + 4psi thing is based on dodgy info...
