Spare Wheel Protector Fitted
Thanks to a forum member selling me his spare wheel protector (JimboTD5), I finally got round to fitting my full size 19" HSE Spare Wheel/Tyre - While I was at it, I also pulled the cable out as far as possible and lubricated it.

Touch wood, it all seems to be working well

Hmmm Looks a bit tight on that rim tbh ...two issues I see ...1. you need to let water out ...2. the weight of the the wheel and the force applied by the winch is on the rim of the protector rather than the centre bracket of the protector 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

Thanks for your thoughts DG
I didn't think of water flowing out and yes looking at the pics it does look a little tight, will lower it a little and see where the force is being applied (Rim or centre bracket) - If needs be I can modify it a littleIggy/Ieuan
