Here is a selection:
2007, S, 146k km, 19800 eur (dealer)
2009, HSE, 196k km, 18390 eur (dealer)
2007, HSE, 189k km, 16900 eur (private)
2005, HSE, 160k km, 15000 eur (private)
2006, SE, 189k km, 14600 eur (private)
2008, SE, 303k km, 13900 eur (dealer)
2006, HSE, 316k km, 10990 eur (dealer)
2005, SE, 400k km (!), 9990 eur (dealer)
2006, SE, 337k km, 9900 eur (dealer) and they’ll give you 500 eur gift card to supermarket if you buy before Xmas
34 D3 for sale right now, all diesel, roughly 6,8% of D3 diesels registered in the country. The figure has increased lately, as you see they’re rather well driven. Last year in August there were only 4 for sale.
Note that on a foreign car one would need to pay car tax when it is being registered in the country... it can be estimated but I would say it’s somewhere between 2 k and 4 k eur on a vehicle of that age and ballpark distance driven.
Hope this helps.
(And your vehicle is really nice looking)

Thanks kajtzu ! In the back of my mind I kind of expected you to be one of the first to reply..
But there is no reason for me to export to Finland ; about € 9900,- is the same as here !

Yours would need to be cheaper than that since the tax (proportional to age and mileage) would need to be taken into account. Vehicles sold here have had it in their price from new. OTOH if someone were to export a vehicle from here one would get back the calculated remaining tax.

Market in Poland for same age car is around 6-8k euros. Mid range is for higher milage cars 250k-300k km. The low end is cars that are not registered in Poland yet. As a private buyer you need to pay a percentage on the value if the car as a tax when you register it. That car value is decided by "the big book" that the tax office holds and then you pay either 2% of the value if the engine is below 2000cc or I think its 4% for over the 2000cc threshold. A motor trader is exempt from this tax so they may buy it, register it and then sell it on more around the 7k euro mark. Unfortunately they are motor traders and know that you are unlikely to find a private buyer who will buy from you and so will bid you accordingly on your car value.

@Gazellio.
But you then sell them at a low price, given the prices in the UK ? I'm looking for around GBP 9K..

There's an answer Dan, maybe you should sell it to Garry, or at least get him to sell it for you on commission?

If one likes (or needs) the D3 the use value is much higher than the resale value
