@Gazellio.
Mentioning of D3 prices in the UK are '..on the floor..' makes me think you export anything thats
not saleble to Africa, hence at a low price..

What would you be able to pass on to me if you could sell mine to an African client ?
Everything works, good tires [ Quatrac 5 -6mm- , Atlas mountains Smile ].
All bills since 2010.. pm me if trade secret 8)

I only sell to chap in Africa if i have something he is interested in, however as I no longer sell D3 further sales to him unlikely.

I am only buying D4 post 2014 facelift at the moment.

Depends on where you want to export to in Africa. For example you cant export a car to kenya thats older than 7 years and they want to lower it to 5 now. Plus the taxes are crazy anyway, you’ll pay 100% in value for import taxes ( customs duty, excise duty and VAT)

The taxes do not affect me. I would sell to someone who imports it. I am not taking the plunge and drive it to Congo, guessing someone may buy it.
Question is basicly, how much would they pay ? Or would they buy RHD since they are dead cheap ?

Kenya is a RHD country and LR vehicles are not cheap...D3,4,RRS,FFRR,RRS here are luxury Vehicles. Clean second hands between 18K to 26K USD. Have a look on cheki.co.ke
Yours is LHD and more than 7 years old, making it hard to register in Kenya

Thanks. I will just keep it and cancel the registration to stop paying € 3000 pa in road tax..
