Window heater

Hi
Is there any way to prevent the fwd and aft window heater to turn on every time i start the car?
Seems like there should be a menu option somewhere? I got the iidtool if CCF edit is the trick?

Anyone who can tell if this pic shows a 2010 or 2012 instrument? Tried to update on iidtool, couldnt see any difference before and after[/img]

That's what my 2010 looks like........... after I'd updated it to a later (2012 I think) version using the IID.

Window heater comes on automatically at such low temps to prevent window misting (which at -3 will happen sooner or later, even with a/c on according to my experience). This is automatically controlled by the Climate Control module (ATC), so I would assume it's not possible to deactivate it. Haven't seen any such setting in the CCF anyway. You could ask GAP if they know of any such configuration. If it exists, I'm sure that they could bring it in, in the next firmware update.
