Damn thats funny!
I can totally sympathise as with all the reading I've done here, any new noise, clunk, bang, knock, shudder and I'm instantly wondering if it's "something"

I did the same, bought roof bars in the winter. When I opened the sunroof in the summer I had the whistling noise. I was very relieved when I realised it was the bars.

Thank the lord for this post😰😰😰! A new noise on a ride out today, a really annoying whistle was convinced the whole engine was about to self distruct. But after reading this post and remembering that i fitted roof bars the other day means i can sleep well tonight.
