So the deal on the alloys didnt happen so looking at some stormer 20" so i assume they will fit

Stormers are worse to judge, as there are loads of chinese copies about 
if they are genuine they should have "land rover" cast into the back of one of the spokes. They should be 53 offset and weight rated at 900Kg.
I am pretty sure (well 98%) they should be 9.5" wide by 20" diam.
Just go carefully

the seller said there is no LR on the wheels they were on his vw t5 so will they fit

Glad you diverted on your original choice. 
Got a real nice set of OEM (as new) MY14 style704 split 7 spoke 19" wheels & Goodyear Wrangler tyres I'll be putting up for sale shortly ....... if that's of any interest to you. ? ...... always on the road less travelled 🚧

If the seller has had them on a VW T5 there is a good chance they are copies only weight rated at 600Kg, so leave well alone
