you don't put 12 down the soldered wires to the timer
The soldered wires should be connected across the timer to a momentary closed relay output, it has to simulate pressing the instant flame button Altox GSM FBH controller thread

I fitted mine yesterday and all I get is a clicking when i press the flame button then it stops clicking and timer go's blank
do I need to set the time
No time is only if you want to use it as a programmed on and off, how are you using it?
If the car is awake the FBH will not fire up, but the timer should show the 30 mins run time after the instant flame button us pushed once Altox GSM FBH controller thread

that explains it then what an idiot. I ran it to the relay but thought it needed power. If course is doesn't. Now in even more gutted as my soldering was probably ok!!!

There is a post on here, you can force it with the timer, its a sequence of removing the fuse, pushing the flame button and repeating in the right sequence Altox GSM FBH controller thread
