Yeah I think you just need to bypass it.

Too difficult and could do too much wiring damage trying to fix it.

Plus 1 as Pete says about running a new pipe

Indeed In many areas the washer pipe is wrapped along with some black kind of glue that makes it a nightmare to get away from the loom
