Hi everyone. I've been told conflicting things by 2 different dealers today and wondered if anyone can provide any clarity.
I'm looking at buying an Approved Used car under 3 years old ie with the balance of the manufacturer's warranty. One dealer told me the 2 year LRA warranty starts when the original warranty ends, so, for example, a car with 1 year's original warranty left will have a warranty for 3 years total. Another dealer told me the LRA warranty 'tops up' the original warranty, to a maximum of 2 years, so, for example, the car with 1 year's original warranty left will get another 1 year's LRA added when it ends, effectively wiping out a chunk of the LRA warranty.
Has anyone had personal experience of this, and what happened? Obviously the former scenario is far more attractive than the latter.
Thanks.

Thanks. So that would just be the 'top up' then.
